Meet Fifi Marika
“The energy of the piece will resonate with someone the same way it resonates with me.” — Fifi Marika
"Art unites, empowers," says Fifi Marika. The Australian-born abstract artist first launched a successful makeup business in her hometown of Noosa then moved to Hollywood to work on television, commercials, music videos and short films.
Co-owner of Nevada-based Roxxstar Entertainment, a multimedia arts company that she co-owns with entertainer D.B.L., Fifi focuses on high end, commissioned abstract art pieces for private and commercial clients. Her work has adorned the walls of Taverna Costera, Saturation Gallery and AW Gallery in Las Vegas’ Downtown Arts District, and hangs in private homes in Lake Las Vegas.
Fifi Marika’s unconventional and signature style is using an eclectic array of improvised tools like scrapers and palette knives, with metallic, three-dimensional colors. Each distinguishable piece encapsulates a frequency or “vibe” that is a reflection of her personality.
A strong proponent of "giving back," Fifi has an eye for more arts and culture in her community. She champions the work of local artists and regularly holds workshops and master classes. Also a musician, whose parents met in a band, Fifi enjoys bass and collaborating with local talent. She also enjoys cooking and listening to psychedelic rock music.
